You will never get a better deal on an Audi than now. They are being marketed HARD for the first time in decades. One of the best automobiles in the world. Best styling in the world short of Bentley. BMW is very, very good but just a wannabe by comparison. Best deals are for leasing. Sweet.

Robert - I know better (or have more constructive things to do) than to argue with you, but....I've done all the research a human (or monkey) could do...and the best deal ever on an Audi is still close to the suckiest deal going (except for Porsche Macan)...

When I went to the Audi dealer for a little plastic hook for the visor on my Avant they told me it was $43! No thanks. These days this is my bike hauler. It takes two road bikes without taking the front wheels off. 2014 Ford Focus ST.

But why your interest then. It can't be that bad if you have it in your top two choices.
Maybe my son-in-law is making more than I thought. He just got an A6. Truth be told we are both addicted to leasing.
Good luck with your quest. I wish you the best. Clearly you can't go wrong. Nice position to be in.

These are the two best choices that I settled on. They are very, very close in many ways. Of course, both are unnecessarily expensive. But the time has come to treat myself.
You're right, Audi is everywhere right now. Lots of advertising whipping up demand.

Just go find yourself a nicely restored Volvo 145 ... but only if you REALLY want to stand apart from the crowd. I hear Audis are flooding Houston ...

But seriously ... if I was down to choosing between those two cars, I'd be shopping for the DEALER.

That X3 is a 2015?! It looks dated compared to the models that have been refreshed.

The 2015 x3 is the mid-cycle refresh, but it's kind of subtle. I actually like it in person. And it drives like a BMW. Whichever selection, would be the 3 liter turbo 6 cylinder in either case.

My last 3 cars were BMW. My current car is an Audi. I CAN'T WAIT to get rid of it as soon as the lease is up and get another BMW(it's a company car so I have to wait). Never had any real problems with it, it just doesn't have the attention to detail for the driving experience that BMWs have, in my opinion that is. Tons of little annoyances like the way things in the dash are laid out, the way knobs and buttons and computer functions work, seat adjustments, and so on. I just found it much more enjoyable to drive a BMW.

Get a Stingray coupe, take the front wheel off the bike, drop the bike under the hatchback, but the wheel in a wheel bag on top of the bike, be the first to arrive at the club meet location. Done!

I got rid of my last BMW because the maintenance cost and cost of parts was completely ludicrous. I had enough issues to be bothersome during warranty, but once I had to start paying to get them fixed that was the end. I indicated my astonishment to the service writer, and he said, "Yeah, I know. I used to write for Toyota and I can't believe people will pay these prices." I wasn't that I couldn't afford it, but rather that I felt I was being taken for a ride by the manufacturer and dealer.

Okay how has nobody said "get a Ford Pinto and spend the difference on bikes"? I'm guessing OP is set on bikes... so he should spend the difference buying me a bike.
