Difference(s) Between Sidi Ergo 2 Carbon and Carbon Lite Soles
Anyone knows the functional difference(s) between the carbon and carbon lite soles on Sidi Ergo 2 road shoes? I am interested mostly in the ride characteristics between the two soles.
I had sent an enquiry to Sidi USA through their website, but no reply in about three weeks.
Thanks.

It's thinner and lighter. I have that sole on a 6.6. There is also a movable vent on the bottom.
I have Wires, Ergo 2's an older version of the 6.6. I see zero difference other than when you open the vent it's a little cooler for your foot.
Like everything else it's weight and a little closer to the spindle adds a "bit" of power.
BTW, there's a bunch of minutae on stats, like deflection...110 lbs. extended off the end of the shoe (in a test) results in 1.5mm of deflection.
Trust me you will not notice that.
