Who Rides a Klein Bike Lets See them
I'm new to the forum and I ride a 2007 Klein Q-Elite V, Show me what Klein you ride and do you like ridding them. The Arctic White paint on my frame is pretty sharp, but I've seen some pretty cool colors on other Kleins. Happy riding.

One of my Kleins.
They don't get much respect around here. It is actually purple most of the time.
Enjoy!

Klein mastered the art of the ugly, two-color fade. I had some laughs with a local frame builder about that very subject last month.

Salsa makes a dark brown bar tape that will match you saddle and look really good against the orange. I have an orange Salsa Las Cruces and the brown tape looks great on it. Plus, it will match your saddle! BTW, I do like that saddle, is it a Brooks?

Yup, its a Swift Ti. That thing paired with that Easton carbon post is like riding on a cloud. The break in was a PITA but totally worth it.

Here's a '90 Quattro; the bar tape is now black, the pedals are now Speedplay Zeroes, the groupset is 105, and it rides quite well.

All the Kleins I've seen have very nice paint jobs and massive seatstays. Their owners were fiercely proud of their bikes.

I must say that I have had a soft spot for Kleins from about 1980 on. Their era has passed with the advances in carbon fiber. Still, they are great bikes. Nothing like them!

Here's my 1992 Performance, purchased as a frame set, and photographed here in 2003 and still looking pretty good (Gotta love that Klein paint!) that I rode quite happily for that decade and many thousands of sorta fast group and long ride miles (11 centuries+ in one notable year), including 3-week tours in France and Italy. My son is still riding it these days, although we both wish I'd purchased a 62cm version instead of this 60cm. It has carried many saddles, including this Swift TI and several Dutch leather Leppers, but my original Turbomatic is back on it.
BTW, there's a thread over in C&V on Kleins going on right now:

Here's the Klein Quantum Race that I picked up in November and built with a full Shimano Ultegra 6800 11 speed group, FSA Plasma bars, FSA seatpost, Fulcrum Racing 1 wheelset. Weighs in at 18 1/2 lbs as built.

I absolutely loved my Klein Pulse II mountain hardtail, in XTR and carbon. 23 lbs, stiff, wonderful.
I really didn't appreciate the pressed in square taper BB. I wanted to do a new XTR gruppo, but couldn't swap the cranks. Gve up, bought a Giant full suspension.
I wish I still had that Klein, now.

Not the best photo, but my 1989 Klein Quantum. Black paint has held up great, and I still ride it, although for some reason it is really difficult to get new tires on the old Campy rims. Shimano 600 with a 6 speed cassette...53/43 chain rings on the front. It has a lot of memories for me.
