So I had my heart set on a saddle....

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

then I came across this little gem:
https://www.nashbar.com/profile.cfm?c...eid=&pagename=

Anyone have any experience with this? at 30 bucks seems like a killer deal. I was planning on buying the Performance Forte SLX with the cutout, but honestly, in my years of riding I never was bothered without a cutout. So now this 30 dollar wonder comes up and I think I'm gonna bite the bullet and order it, half the price I would have paid for the performance saddle =) I'll post a review when it comes in seeing as how apparently no one on this forum has ever even discussed these saddles.

EDIT: ordered. I bought the yellow one, should look nice on my fixie, and if it's nice enough I think another one will land on my roadie =)

I have seen those before. They seem very similar (engineering wise) to a Selle Italia SLR or similar, and are a good saddle for the money. I would consider one if it matched the bike I needed one for. Don't need one yet though.

I use the same saddle except it has a aireon logo. I got it for 20bucks on sale at supergo. It's a great saddle, especially for the price. It's light and the padding's just enough. I use it on my fixie, but i'm temped to put it on the E-5 and use that instead. It's a great saddle and still a steal at 30bucks

Yeah I ordered it since it seemed to mimic the SLR design which against most people's opinion's, fits my bony butt better than anything else I have ever used. Hence why I was looking at the forte SLX as well.

EDIT: Doh! I just checked supergo and the aireon team race that Wangster is talking about is in fact the same thing as the nashbar one...and only 20 bucks, probably around 25 with shipping as opposed to 35 from nashbar, ah well =P
