Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I am looking to buy a new bike for the 2015 season. I am an all around rider but have a 1500 watt max, I weight 150 pounds. I am a junior so I am on a budget. I saw this frame and liked the racy geometry. I am currently on a caad10 which seems pretty stiff. A lot of my friends say to get a allez but I have heard this has a flesh bottom brackets.

Suggestions welcome. Opinions?

Well, since Mark Cavendish only puts out 1580 watts, perhaps you should be getting someone to sponsor you. Or buy a better power meter.

What's wrong with your CAAD10?

I know they use some pretty interesting equipment that allows them to build pressures in their molds that most others can't. This means there is maximum compaction and no voids. That should yieled a pretty light and stiff frame.

I'd say give it a go.

@raisinberry777 I outgrew my caad10 in size. I have a power meter. And cav is a good person to compare watts to as his sprinting style allows him to use less. And notice how to compete with him other sprinters need 1800 plus watts.
@Bob Dopolina thanks I'll give it a go then. Thanks for your help.
