Why? Living in south Florida you're always giving the bike and drivetrain a good cleaning due to the salty air and schmeg on the road. My chain looks like new all the time and I have Trek Care+ which replaces the chain and cassette when it starts to wear. It's all good!

Haha! For all we know, it's made it the same factory in China!
But hey, that frame/fork/headset combo was something like 150 bucks, and it was a great place to hang old/spare components. And when I was done, it was right around 19 lbs (it's 7005 alu), and it's actually a decent riding bike. I've done a couple of MS-150s on it, and it also makes a really good guest bike.

It's the Felt F4C. It was Felt's F series before their last remake, and I personally think it's better. The newer model is very stiff in places you don't want, and this one is a smoothie but still a sharp turner.
