All those black things run together- arm, leg warmers, beanies, gloves, etc. etc..
Do you have a system?

throw them all in a bin.....when my arm warmer is longer than my arm I try it on my legs and when my leg warmers are all tight and hoochi-momma looking....I put them on my arms.

Hahaha, good way to describe it. I pretty much have the same system. If the leg warmer is too small, it's probably an arm warmer.

In have a grey pair, and two black pairs, each differentiated by different commercial logos on them.
The leg and knee warmers are different sizes, of course, but the polypro winter ones are thicker, and the logos (or absence) differentiate them.

Bin method. I keep three bins in my laundry room, one for tops, one for bottoms and one for miscellaneous (hats, gloves , socks, dog repellent etc.). Only cycling stuff goes in any of them. It works well.

Leg warmers and long tights hang in my closet with my cycling jerseys, polar fleece, and jackets. Arm warmers, shorts/tights, gloves, socks, do-rags, balaclavas, and goggles are in drawers in the dresser. Anything waiting for a second wearing remains on hangers in an airing area.
I keep cycling glasses in the garage with the helmets. Water bottles in a kitchen cupboard.

Clear plastic shoe boxes with the blue or white tops like you get at Target for about a $1 each. I keep cycling socks in one, gloves and croakies in another. Arm and leg warmers in a third. They stack on shelves in my closet just like the other ones that my shoes are in.

Stop exercising your arms so much, leg warmers should be much bigger than arm warmers. (Seriously, I wear XL leg warmers and S/M arm warmers. How do I get rid of these skinny little chicken arms...)
I roll up my warmers and keep them in my duffel bag to haul my biking clothes around. Leg warmers are a bigger roll than arm warmers.

They reside in a drawer which holds my arm warmers, beanies, head bands, etc.
They all seem to get along quite nicely.

Gloves always stay fully velcro'd together when not in use. Keeps them from getting separated, and/or keeps the velcro hooks from trashing other cycling gear in the washer.
In season it is all hanging up ready for use, out of season the cold gear gets put in a bin (gloves still velcro'd together)

I always use the "lost one of them, buy another pair" method. Works like a charm, though it's not for everyone.

Gloves - one glove in the other.
Arm/leg warmers - I almost never use them. I knot them together, loosely.
Knee warmers - I put one in the other, a bit rolled up (like a kid wearing pants that were too long).
All my primary gloves, warmers, etc, reside in my gear bag (kit is outdated but the concept is the same) in a separate area. I keep all but the heaviest gloves in my gear bag most of the year. I try to have at least 2 of each functional item that I normally use, i.e. two long finger summer gloves, two winter gloves, etc.

I keep all mine in a large plastic box behind the closet door. Horribly disorganized, all generally black, pain in the arse to ever find anything or match items, especially in the early morning. Hoping to get inspiration from this thread!

After reading this thread I decided to reorganize my cycling basket in the closet. I've got my warmers rolled up like socks and my jerseys and jackets hanging up. Socks in with my regular socks; I wear cycling socks most of the time anyways.
I only have one good short sleeve jersey; the others have lost their elasticity. And my bib shorts look like something the cat dragged in and the kittens refused.
Time to go shopping!!

Separate plastic shoe boxes for 1-hats, 2-gloves, 3-socks.
Instead of leg/knee warmers I wear varying thickness unpadded tights. They are rolled up and have their own shelf.
Instead of arm warmers I wear varying weight base layers. They are on clothes hangers as are the jerseys and jackets.
Some days they are all just in the clothes dryer. There's more to life than chores.

I use a hanging fabric shoe rack for my bike gear. Spare tire kit goes in the top pocket, then sunglasses, gloves, arm warmers, etc as you work your way down. One shoe goes into each of the last two pockets. Basically you work your way down from head to toe as you move down the pockets.
