Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

What gives ?
Your body not only had to expend more energy to pedal you along in greatly increased air density, but your body also had to work hard at trying to keep you warm. Simply put, your body had to work a lot harder to do the same thing at 30 degrees than it does at 65 degrees.

50 miles is a pretty good ride in 30 degree temps.--wayda go!

Thanks man that's an Awesome post.
I took Monday off but I'm out now.
My normal commuting is child's play right now.
My crotch has healed.
I also had serious extacuricular activities with a gf the night before the big ride.
Think I'll wait til after next time.
