Addiction XXXXIII

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'd go $25 maybe. Love the paint color. Unfortunately those came with Shimano 333 hubs instead of Sturmey Archer.

Now that my wife has found a few beers to her liking, I can buy sampler packs under the guise of helping along her beer education. Today it was a Summit Brewing Spring Sampler pack. I'm such a selfless hubby.

My wife would totally dig that and, like LoP, I like the color (Robin's Egg-ish?).

Seems there was a kit that was posted a page or two back that would go with that fine little step-through.......

You're assuming that I could actually get her to try another beer after that. I'm not so sure that I could.

...picking the meat from crabs cooked with the Old Bay seasoning (also a local Chesapeake bay product) help you to while away the hours drinking the beer.

I guess you had to be there. It's mostly about drinking...with friends...sort of a very messy party based on local products.

I... like my food to not look like an alien. To start with, no chitin, no legs, no buggy eyes. I'll eat shrimp but I have to pretend I don't know what they look like. Got diablo shrimp on my filet one time at a fancy restaurant (Truluck's) and they brought them out with faces and legs still attached. That was problematic.

Also, I've never encountered a beer I liked. My ex of five years was a beer lover and spent the whole time trying to find one I'd like, so it's not like I tried Beast Ice once in college and decided beer sucks. Tried a bunch of Sam Adams brews, Guinness, bunch of locals from NY and CO, and others I can't even remember. Light, dark, IPA, whatever. Just can't find one that's enjoyable.

Give me a 10oz filet, a salad, and a giant glass of ice water and I'm happy.

The other people in my Computrainer group are triathletes. I was the only one there without aero bars.
