Knock off "3T" carbon drop bars?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bought the knockoff ergonovas over a year ago from China. Thanks to the bars, I am a 2015 KOM on several segments even though I'm out of shape.

Hmmm, let's see...

Sellers name is 'easylife2015', joined on Dec 23, 2014, based in China and has a Feedback score of 3.

Sounds like a quality shop.

Oh, I get it – The money you save on the knockoffs can then be spent replacing your knockouts at the dentist.

Good points all around. Oh, and it say's they are for MTB's too so get a set for both bikes. They are universal.

Yes, pretty fishy. But I gather some have had okay experiences with the Chinese knockoff carbon frames, so I thought I'd ask.

I didn't notice the MTB reference. Maybe these are the latest dirt drops.

Yes, but which knockoff carbon frames. Are the bars made by the same people? You can never tell. Expensive to do your own field testing.

The full price item is only $400...

Why not save a little more money and buy real ones when they're on super sale at a UK outfit? I don't think that I paid more than $150 for Rotundo Team bars.

I think it's unethical to buy counterfeit components. Not fair to the real company.
Generic, ok. Generic is not impersonating a legit brand.

The original ones are nice but kind of flexy, My recomendation would be go with the aluminum ones you can find some used ones for about 50 or new ones for around 100.00

i have a friend that uses the Cinelli copy carbon bar/stem combo on e-bay and he loves it. honestly, if i could deal with the -17 degree stem i would use the same exact ones he uses, because every real brand i looked at doesn't make the size combo i need...
