Trek Domane - What Year Do I Need??

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm confused. Why not ask them? Do you have a photo of the actual bike? What are we suppose to verify for you?

I don't want to ask because I'm thinking it's a pricing error.

It's a Trek Domane 5.2 in Orange and Black

According to the Trek archive, Orange and Black is only available in the 2015 model. They have it listed as a 2014

If that's the bike (see photo), then yes it's the current model year color/spec. Because technically the bike came out in mid-Fall 2014 it's a lot like cars, it's a 2015 but available well before the actual calendar read 2015.

Some of us don't think internal cabling is an "upgrade." I bought a 4.5 specifically because I wanted a normal seatpost and external cabling. Much easier to work on.

That's the bike. Am I crazy or is $3000 CAD (~2410 USD) a great deal on this bike?
