Yes! Some friends and I did a gran fondo last year. Only one of us stood on the climb where the photographer was. He looks strong and athletic. The rest of us look like we want our mommies. This year, as soon as I see that camera, I am standing.
Anyway, as a woman, let me tell you guys with the strong sprinters legs that I appreciate the view of you in your spandex.

That's ok too, because we're all ogling the girls faster than us on the climbs, in fact... I get a better time on the climb if there is a hottie a short way up the hill.

I really just think it's like any other clothing. Some colors are more flattering than others, either tight fitting lycra/spandex or loose fitting cotton and denim. My wife doesn't think I look bad :-) I'm cool with that. You won't catch me venturing out to the grocery store wearing bike clothing though, unless I rode 10 miles to get there. :-o

I feel "good enough". Women I know whistle and I've caught a couple of double takes in a good way. My wife's friends have mentioned to my wife that I look good heading out on a ride. I think as you get older, 40+, the competition for a decent body isn't very high.
