Sit? Stand? Sprint? Spin? Mash? Intervals? One leg drills?
.
My last one had two spin ups (70 to 150 rpm), a 30 minute stand incorporating 15 surges, two 9 minute progressive intervals, three 4 minute intervals, another spin up (60 to 125 rpm) and then a ten minute spin at 115 rpm. It was an ass kicker.

It was so dull I would have fallen asleep except for getting yelled at because I was sweating all over She Who Must Be Obeyed's floor.
The spin classes, when I could drag myself to them at 0530, were a bit more engaging because the instructor kept yelling at us over the techno music she had selected for our sessions.

I don't do cadence targets or drills; I just hit the wattage targets. Last time was 8x3' @ 105%. Sunday.

Today was supposed to be a steady one hour zone 2 but I was on Zwift and ended up with a zone 3.6 because I got tired of getting passed.

Unstructured JRA ride on the trainer, like normal, 2 hrs, some big gear, some little gear, mainly drops and tops, some time on the Cane Creeks.
I've agreed to be someone's guinea pig for a bit so I'll be doing more structured workouts for a couple months but for me I stopped doing structured workouts in the mid 80s.
I do about half my annual hours on the trainer. I ride indoors throughout the year. This year 2 hours seems to be a normal trainer ride for me. 3 hours is not as common.

Last 4 weeks of training this March.
I honestly probably would come like a bat outta hell in April but I don't want to peak too early.

Found a free movie On Demand (In Time - not bad, but should have been better, SciFi stuff). I mostly just pedaled at around 75-80% of my ftp power output and threw in a couple of short 'climbs' at 100 to 125% of ftp (1 to 2 minutes - nothing really hard) just because.
Ultimately a 105 minute ride that beat the heck out of going outside and doing that in rainy 36 degree temps.

Last time was about a month ago when it snowed. I did 8 laps around Zwift Island. I managed to take the polka dot jersey and keep it for the whole time. Pretty much kept up a reasonable pace everywhere else during the ride. The weather has been somewhat decent lately (cold but no snow/ice) so I have been riding outside since.

I use trainerroad and recently got a new trainer (well I got it for my wife, I'd been using an old trainer I got off craigslist last year). Well, the roller on my old travel trac trainer has noticeable wear in the middle, and a new trainer tire kept slipping, so I started using the ascent fluid model. So things get weird when using trainerroad (and I have to add the caveat that it certainly isn't a trainerroad issue, I'm certain). In prior virtual power tests with my old trainer, I was operating on a 230w threshold. Today, I took time to test the resistance setting on the ascent by shifting through various gears on the cassette, making sure to see if the various gear/cadence combos matched with the "speeds" from online calculators. Having that out of the way, I did a trainerroad test, and my FTP was 323w, so pretty huge difference. I only care as far as having a way to consistently set my indoor training zones, and not an expectation of actual outdoor performance, but I find it curious how I got two very different outcomes from different trainers (I was working just as hard with the old trainer than I am with new as far as HR and RPE go). I had always felt that my old travel trac had a lot of resistance the faster I got, whereas the ascent does feel a bit more natural to me, but it could also be that I used too much resistance with the travel trac model. Who knows. Unfortunately, no rich benefactor is lining up to buy me a power meter, so I'll work with what I have.

I did an old Carmichael CTS sprint training video. 10 minute warm up. Video was a series of low rpm/heavy gear sprint intervals both in & out of the seat mixed with high cadence in/out sprints finished off with some 1 minute pacing, 20 second raised gear / rpm and 10 sec. out of seat all out sprint. Tomorrow I'll do 1 hour scaffolding & run a 5K. Race season is coming!

Little over 3 hours on rollers watching 2 good movies on Netflix. Easy pace at around 14-15 mph.
I found I ride much faster to YouTube indoor training videos...at least I don't have to think comparing to Hollywood movie
Somewhere at the 3hrs10min mark....

1 hour of steady VT1 today. I get plenty of hard on the weekends. I used to do all sorts of drills, but this winter I've just been doing base on the rollers.
