Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

New Bike Day...Ridley Helium

Longtime lurker, first time poster. My first new bike in 30 years, a 2014 Ridley Helium RS/ SRAM Force 22. Been riding a CIOCC SLX I bought new in 1984. Stepped up to carbon and brifters, I feel so modern...lol

2014 Ridley

1984 CIOCC SLX

The visual deception of the "new" style compact frame geometry. The actual measurement center of bottom bracket to top of saddle is the same!
