Beside me, who else can know their ride data without looking?
I can, almost without fail know the following without looking at my Garmin:
MPH: to within .5
Cadence: to within 4 rpms.
Heart Rate: To within 5bpm.
Incline / Decline: To within .5%
Only times I'm way off or can't verify is during an all out sprint.
I don't have a power meter, but I assume eventually I'd get that too.
This is probably pretty common?

Definitely not my HR which varies dramatically between the morning and evening and during the course of a ride for a given RPE. Power also feels quite different after a day off vs at the end of 5 straight days of riding.

Speed within discipline (mtb, road, etc), cadence, and heart rate are all pretty constant in terms of averages at the end of a ride. I could tell you before, during, or after what it's going to end up being.

Not having a HR monitor on me (gasp!) nor a computer (double gasp!!) to give me immediate feedback and develop that sense, I could probably tell you my HR to within 5 beats and my current speed with 5km/h. That's not much use, I know, but neither is having a HR monitor and a computer on my bike.
When I was running a lot I could tell my pace to within 3-5 seconds per mile, as well as the over pace of the entire run. Now I'm like 20 seconds off, and sometimes even run without wearing any electronic. Triple gasp!!!

I bought heat rate sensor and cadence and it turns out that after I warm up my cadence and heart rate end up almost exactly were they are suppose to be. Nice to visually see it though.

Pretty much the same except for grades, we being fairly grades out here in flatlandia. It's why I stopped using a computer. Why bother looking at what I know.

No. Until I download the PM I don't know really how well (work) I have done. The really crappy days with a headwind for example can result in really good numbers. I have 6 yrs of power data to compare.
