I would agree with you, except that deep wheels are not desirable in cross winds. 4.0's aren't deep enough to not ride them in cross winds, but you probably wouldn't buy 808s if it's always windy...

My first pedals were Keo classics. No problems. They're easy to get in and out of - just practice a few times while on the trainer or propping yourself up against a wall so you get the feel of it....

Don't get a bike that doesn't fit you just because its a good deal. Fit is the most important thing, so take your time. I think you should try out 56 and 54 cm frames and go from there.

My Zefal pump fits on my 07' Six13. I don't have a peg for the pump, but I just use a little velcro strap to keep it up there. They do make these in different sizes I believe.
