Hanger vs. direct attatch

I just recently bought a derailleur with a hangar. The bike I have was meant to use a direct attatch derailleuar. Is it possible to put a derailler with a hangar on a bike meant for direct attatch?

to me... a tube is a tube. i use specialized presta tubes on my bike and they have done a good job and the valve is holding up great

well when i do get then trued..the rim is not...

well when i do get then trued..the rim is not bent so severe..i just like it to be straight...but anyway i have a good wheelset..i think it may be that i ride a lot of rock gardens and hit my tires...

it all depends...with minor bends i can ride for a little bit because it doesnt effect too too much with disc brakes.. id say about once every 3 weeks or so

I ride alot and bend tist and turn rims alot... at thge local shop it cost $10 for a wheel truing...is it worth the money to invest in a truing stand?

Seat Height

I have people tell me all the time at the trails that i ride my seat to low. When i am sitting on the saddle and put my feet down i can get my feet flat on the ground if i fully extend my legs.....

It sounds like you may have a worn chainlink or crank tooth. If thats not the case you may need to adjust your front derailleaur becuase you may be overshifting of the crankset

It all depends...kickstands take off weight and drag factors but if your not going to use the bike for racing and just as a short commuter bike...why not put the kickstand on
