Frankly, just going from your 48's to a very lightweight set of 36h conventional wheels with a 25mm tire would probably feel pretty dramatic, and almost on par with a Rolf as far as first impressions...

It''s the same for me; the positioning on my road bike just doesn't work on the tandem. I can raise the bars pretty easily by flipping the stem over; guess I'll start there. Thanks!

We have an '06 Cannondale tandem. I can't avoid my hands going numb, even on short rides. Will a suspension fork help? Should I just put better/more padded tape on the bars?

My chain droops precariously when coasting; bouncing like mad on the chainstay. It's fine as long as I'm pedaling. Is the B-tension adjustment screw the solution or is something else going on?
