It's more than likely over-training/under-recovering. I alternate between riding and running on a daily basis. I figure running is more damaging to your joints than fixie...

Intermittent popping and clicking sound.

It only seems to be happening when I am back-pedaling and not all the time. I wouldn't really care that much about the sound if it were coming from my bike but it's actually coming from my left...
