The seat lugs different from the 83 I had, mine had deeper crimping on the tubes and no cut out in the bb, and had 2 cable guides on the top tube. I don't know about later ones.

Gunsmiths use a similar tool to the exhaust ones. Brownell's probably has them, I remember them being hydraulic. Used for removing dents from shotgun barrels.

Chrome makes it harder not easier for paint to stick. Just think of it as quick release...
