It was my first and had zero problems at the rest stops. Having said that, I typically do the larger organized rides, so my expectations may be a tad lower than someone use to smaller crowds.

I attend pretty intense spin classes 2 - 3x a week. While it doesn't compare to being out on the road and dealing with wind/terrain/etc, it's a great workout.
