He didn't do so well at Darpa. But that machine is sweet. If it falls over it has an arm that can extend to pick it back up.

To be fair, Campy never sold cranks drilled out like that. The spider should not have had those holes in it, which probably lead to the crank dying in a skid.

Normal hubs have forward threading, so only something that is forward threaded will work.

I'm pretty sure I've read that with open face stems the 25.4 versus 26 isn't an issue either way (26 bars or 25.4 bars, opposite stem). For 25.4 in a 26 that's single bolt, you need a shim.
