Good to know those lines are just for reference. On my left foot I have the cleat at 1 on one side and 0 on the other. The right foot they're both at 1.

Oh geez so the 54 might be too big then it seems...It can be slightly adjusted by changing the stem and handle bars though right? What would make a bigger difference, the stem or the handle bars?
