Was able to pick up a used cinelli zydeco for decent price locally. a little bit flashier than I wanted, but no real complaints. it's a super nice bike.

I'll keep the 7 in the back for now and adjust if I find the setup lacking. I normally ride a fixed gear, so my guess is 7 will be enough for me. But we'll find out.

Misaligned seam on rims braking surface

Picked up a $40 trek 950 to use as a winter beater/ grocery getter. One side of the seem on the rim is a tiny bit lifted, and i can hear it catch my brake pads under braking.

How do I fix this?...

Thanks for everyone's input, appreciate it. I was lucky enough to snag a 2007 bianchi milano on c-list for 180. leaves some room in the budget to change out the bars and saddle.
