Thanks for all your replies. I got this light when they first came out.It has the metal casing. I think I will just run it with the lights on.:) I`m suprised its still going at all after 15 years?

I can cope with the the hub not being built into...

I can cope with the the hub not being built into a wheel. I have stripped loads of bare hubs.This hub without the notches won`t work with the sturmey tool.

I find the 70mm very nice.Brake linings only last about 50,000 miles.The other option is the hub with the same brake and built in dynamo hub.Can you try this hub on a different bike before you buy?

Also I wanted the Elephant bike to have a hub dynamo,with the brake in the same hub.A quick search found another bike for less than the cost of a new hub.Its like this one.Thats the new post cart...

Try this.Put a piece of rubber pipe over the end of the flag pole.Then cable tie it over the rubber to your frame to get the desired angle in 2 places.:thumb:Jobs a goodun.
