I want something super stiff tho, not too big of a fan of aluminum, might go up to around 2k get something like a tarmac?

Rode in the drome for a while and now I'm looking to move on to gears finally. Any suggestions on a good bike for around the $1500 price range?

Just got stationed here in Goose Creek right outside of Charleston, looking for a good shop for roadies and a new track bike. Suggestions? Also where is the nearest velodrome?
