I nearly bought one, found it to be a good value but went for full caron instead. Check on a company's warranty, most have a good frame warranty. If they do not then I would pass.

If you have thin/cheap bar tape you could try some with more cusion to it. I have the specialized stuff on mine, it is a bit softer than some of the other stuff out there.
