I'd get a synapse if i were you. From what i've read the caad10 is a very stiff racers bike. Once i get to be older i will take comfort over maximal performance any day.

i was riding shimano 2200 and those hoods were atrocious. but it was also the bottom of the barrel. I have sram force now but i'm sure i'd have been just as happy with ultegra or dura ace.

Michelin PR3s blow chunks. i used em for 50 miles got 2 flats. threw them away.

I used 2 pairs Rubino Pros before that and got 1500-2000...
