wk101 - thanks, i had checked the catalogs and didnt see any upright 420's so thought I'd check here. I'll make sure to check if anything else was changed other than the bars and i'll assume levers.

1984 Trek 420 Pewter ... Northroad style bars? Original or aftermarket?

Hi - looking at a 1984 Trek 420 Pewter color. Has upright Northroad style bars. Did some come like that or is this probably aftermarket?
I'd be using as a grocery getter so I like the upright...
