i mount my cleats over top of the booties rather...

i mount my cleats over top of the booties rather than cut out for them.. this keeps a layer of rubber sole between the pedal and sole of the shoe.. less cold transferance.. and the bootie still flips...

I just cant see paying HID prices.. and have no problems seeing just fine with a 13v turbo cat system that puts two on the bars and a 6v helmet light.. for far cheaper than a HID system... plus bulb...
