I'm 5'8 and I was recommended the 52 when I was at the shop. I did not get the chance to sit on one of their 54 frames so I cant really give you a comparo, but the 52 felt great.

The ulock holster is an awesome idea, and I would recommend either tight jeans with rips in them, or the jeans shorts cut right above the knee.
