Yes I learned this the hard way on my CC trip last summer, Busted 4 spokes before I got out of Virginia, rearranged the weight so I had the heavier stuff in the front and Never had a spoke break...

My front rim has 20k+ miles on it and still running true. Its a bontrager Camino. Figure the side of the rim will wear down before the wheel breaks!

Getting the A719 with a xt hub and alphine Swiss II spokes in Thursday. 300 is the cost at the LBS. Could get it cheaper online but I like to support the LBS here. Thanks for the advice ya'll!
