I normally spin the pedals a few times before turning my Garmin on.

Otherwise I get it but as mentioned, proceed and it works as it should.

Not sure what you mean.

The Wahoo cadence sensor worked as any cadence sensor would once connected. The V650 uses the same bluetooth tech as just about anything else so any recent item should work...

On the V650 I used a Wahoo cadence sensor, didn't even bother with a speed sensor. I'm sure a speed sensor would work as well or even a speed/cadence unit. As long as it's a Bluetooth sensor.

Part of buying the propel was knowing I could swap out the headset and have a decent Tri bike if ever decided to try one. Don't think i'll ever need a dedicated Tri bike.
