The lever was still really snug going on, I also wrapped my bars backwards apparently and couldn't get the damned tape stuffed into the bar...

Yeah pretty much all riser and flat bars are 22.2...I guess cause mtb and bmx use those diameters for their break levers still. So even if that same company makes a bullhorn they're most likely not...

I agree with this. I've got an SE draft lite that has a lot of upgrades done with fairly cheap parts. (origin 8 crankset, velocity deepv, alloy bars, ritchey post etc), everything but the fork brakes...
