Replace the fluid. If it has water in it this can happen. And rust/etc. You can check on the fluid container for boiling temps. Dry is fresh out of the bottle, wet is with water in it.

You can try raising the deductable (I assume yours is at $300 or so?) and dropping comprehensive insurance if you have it. Bare insurance on my car is $1200CDN or so, add in the comprehensive, etc...

My own car takes only 94 octane though. Its off the road for a while longer, engine work and stuff like that...
