Appreciate the "rest of the story."

Thank you for the follow-up, and for being willing to do what was right. I am sorry your bargain of the century did turn out to be hot... but it looks like a good ending.

20/26 retrofit to 700C with picture

Finally took the plunge, and converted my Optima Lynxx to a 700c racer. Weather here is bad (as in several blizzards this winter, and snow/ice everywhere), so I don't know if/how it will ride.

That Bikelounger looks... whoa... amazing.

I am working with an Optima Lynxx. There is a 26/26 version (under a different name), so I know theoretically it can be done... what I noticed is that I...

Campy-ified 'Bent, 700c question

I am thinking of converting my 20/26 SWB to Campy, so I can swap parts with my DF. Is this a crazy thing to do? I can, with minor retrofit, run a 700c on the back.

2nd question... I have looked...

I have been on a 'bent for about a year now, and find the cables and chain lines a bit... disconcerting. On a tight corner, what happens to the chain? Doesn't it connect with the front wheel, and...

Personally, I am looking at the Corsa or the Aero, as I like the carbon seat on my Optima and my last DF bike was ti. Of course, negotiations with my wife have yet to occur. ;-)
