I had the same problem and one thing you can try is when you replaced the tire, you could possibly have over tightened the scewer. Try playing around with the scewer first and see what happens.

Looks like they've eliminated the Durango 3.0 and gave it's upgrades to the 2.0. My bike was replaced by the 2.0 in 06 and actually shared some components with the 3.0.
