Thank you Braddock for the pictures. My 8.4 has two mounting holes on the seat stays, but they're too far apart to bolt the lock on. I'm going to have to use the mounting straps.

What brand is your ring lock? I bought an ABUS through the 'net. It wasn't large enough for the attachment points on the seat stays.

Actually, no. I got the LTD for my '15 8.4 DS and when I pulled the cap off it was just the open end of the handlebar tube, not the triangular hole shown in the instructions. So it's back to the LBS...

I'm resurrecting a Raleigh Sports bike with a 3SPD SA hub. The date on the hub is "76". I put 30W oil in it and took it for a spin on its new rubber. It felt like it was skipping a beat in all gears....
