For cat 4's (esp 30+), I'd put that in the "very aggressive" territory, but as long as hands stayed on the bars, and noone went down it sounds legal/acceptable. Then again, I didn't race this...

lol - that is so maddening! had a similar experience 2 weeks ago. Officials were silent sprinted for the finish but there was still one lap to go. Dohhhhhh!

Oh okay, I dropped out of that race having done both 30+ races beforehand.

It 'felt' really easy - but about 8 minutes in, my right hammy begged to differ :o
