Decided to clean the cassette today as it's awful...

Decided to clean the cassette today as it's awful weather today.

Pulled the spoke protector too as being as I had the cassette off. Looks a bit cleaner now.

It's ok, I stick to the big roads and head west...

It's ok, I stick to the big roads and head west out over Tamagawa and into the hills. Also I ride first thing in the morning when less cars are about.

I meant because your bars are the same height as the saddle. In the photo I quoted, it is leaning against a hand rail so it is easy to compare the height.

Ahhh, sorry, that orange one isn't mine, just an excellent example of these old Kleins. Mine is full Dura ace 9700, so the chainrings are too.

I don't have the money to blow to build mine up...

That claim has been refuted beyond belief. I can go into why the wheels 'exploded' but the skinny of it was that the early gen hubs sometimes allowed the blades to come...
