Sounds similar to W Colorado, we sorta have one streetlight in each block, but sometimes one is out, this light covers the need to see.

That is the dynamo I run as well, nothing fancy, just works.
After a month of riding I am still happy with my light, one thing I might mention I ride city streets, that means some streetlights....
