Also depends on the segment you're targeting. 2-3 seconds isn't that much to cover on a longer segment. On a shorter sprinty segment, it can be huge.

I mean, they make you faster at a given effort, but that's not really useful for a heart rate test. Unless you're also going for a KOM at the same time.
