This is where it is at. I love the aesthetics, value, and ride of bikes from this era. I would build mine with record or chorus 10 but this still gets a hot.

if you want a better crankset i would keep my eye open for a new take off or lightly used rotor crankset. there always seems to be one around at a reasonable price.

I've got a 34in inseam and have 180mm c-record cranks on one of my bikes. They feel a touch long and I have experianced pedal strike but if I "needed" 180s I would get them.
