I have a fine file that I keep clean and only use for that purpose. I hear it's overkill, but I'm conservative.

Edit: I use the file to rough up the latex, not completely strip it.

How do you guys decide how much pressure to run? Obviously for an indoor wooden track it's as high as the tire goes, but what about outdoor concrete tracks or such?
