I never said I hadn't "heard of" them, btw, what I said is that I didn't KNOW them.

The only brand called "Performance" I know is the sports nutrition which sponsors our tri club ... we get free samples sometimes :D

I buy most of my parts either online or in a specific shop where the owner sells OEM parts "under the counter" ;)

There are basicly 3 possible scenarios when I'm walking into a shop:...

As far as I know I'm the customer and as the customer I decide what I want to do and/or buy.
May be I'm just wandering around ... looking at...

At least in Belgium you've got an abundance of LBS's to choose from, depending on where exactly you live, of course.
