I bought a fairly generic 80mm deep carbon...

I bought a fairly generic 80mm deep carbon tubular -about $200USD. Low flange road and I ride a Zipp hex skewer on the track.
Outdoors - fine until 30-35km/h wind. 50mm usable in all conditions....
