well, new pads seemed to have fixed the issue, i went with dia compe grey matter, the braking improved, still not amazing but better, i can work with that. took the rear rack off, it made too much...

well the first step in fixing the brakes is getting new pads.. so i went with Dia-Compe gray matter, 4 pads for 15 bucks.. hell of deal, i already have a set on my sports which improved the braking...

the levers are brand new, they were nos from the coop, got them with a set of bullhorns, they don't feel like they are compatible with brakes, like when you use single pivot levers with V-Brakes......

wrapped the bars with cork, twined the ends, and shellac'd ,came out nice, the chain stay protector came out great, almost to the finish line.. just need the decals.. and some new brake pads......
