Yep good point, I agree. I have some black tape in the shop, but I'm too cheap / lazy to switch it out until the current tape wears out a little bit.

Me too. But if you're going to photograph your bike for posting esp. hot-r-not, take off the saddle bag, put the chain on the big dog, consider crank placement and background. It doesn't take long.
