I have a 2300 FD that has no markings on the outside of it (besides a tiny Shimano sticker). It's braze-on though but if you have an adapter it would work. Unless you have to have 1055. Just throwing...

Thanks for the offer, I'm quite sure they're long enough. My other brakes are max 57mm and they're only about 5-7mm too short. So the 556s should be more than enough.

Just buy a new one if you can find one. They wear kind of quickly and aren't serviceable. Plus new ones aren't very expensive.
