It is very dirty and the paint is chipped a lot, but I can't see any obvious frame damage. But as you said, the parts are worth more than $200; the cranks, bottom bracket and front derailleur alone...

I would guess that the majority of male riders ride frames that are 54-58cm. While probably having the most frames in this size, they also seem to be the most in demand as reflected by prices.
